Club Captain's Day looks to be a great event on 17th, with food and entertainment in the evening from 7pm.
Peter Simpson is such a wonderful Captain of the club and such a supportive friend to the academy and we are looking forward to joining him for the evening. If you would like to come along, book online for the competition and for the evening, the sign up list is in the Spike Bar.
Such a lot going on and all great fun.
So now we move on to the Pro Shop and all things Academy-like.
Fresh back from our annual leave, we are hitting the ground running. Our first school commitments start on 13th with some coaching at Ravenswood School. We then complete three weeks there, followed by some work with Kingsweston and some further school work to complete before the end of 2016.
We also have just one more series of Inclusion Sessions for 2016 in October before we take a break until March 2017. It is too chilly for those with mobility challenges to stand out in the cold, not to mention the lack of fun in bad weather, so we will restart in sunshine (please.) for next year.
It's been awesome again this year and we've had so much support from all of you, which quite simply makes what we do so special, so thank you all for being so generous with your course and facilities.
We are heading towards Winter (boo hiss) and our deliveries of winter stock have started to arrive. In the deliveries are some really beautiful winter items, Under Armour fleeces, Gore-Tex jackets, Sunderland Ladies' waterproofs - all available in the Pro Shop from next week.
So pop in soon and be sure you get your winter warmers before it gets too cold to play.
Next week also sees the good old tradition of the Professional's Christmas Draw reappear for the winter 2016. Drawn every year at the Captains' Drive In and Cocktail Party, there are always great prizes to be won and lots of nice new things to enjoy. Please keep an eye out for the board which will very soon be reinstated and tickets remain
£1 each or 6 for
£5 , so plenty of chances to bag a goodie or two.
At the end of September, Paul heads to Hazeltine in the USA to be part of Team Wood in the forthcoming Ryder Cup. This is a very exciting time for us all, a big target of Chris' for a long time and we are very proud to support him and team Europe.

We will also be running our Santa Tri Golf Special in December, on the 3rd so keep an eye out for posters and sign up sheets soon.
On that note, have a great week
Caren, Paul, Nick and Andy
