Thanks so much Nick. Now I know how important drills are in golf and I’m going to hand over to Luke for his instruction:
Improve your chipping This is as much of a chipping tip as it is a drill. A simple concept. When you’re practicing your chipping, try and focus on creating the letter y shape with your arms and shaft of the club. Keep slightly more weight on your front/lead foot at address and allow your shoulders and arms to work together, whilst keeping the hands very passive throughout. This will help you create a downward blow on the ball, letting the loft of the club do the work to get the ball in the air. A simple chipping technique that will help you to stop fatting and thinning those short shots around the greens equals lower scores and a happy golfer.
Aren’t our lads fantastic? Well done guys. So we move on another week and next week much more to read so have a lovely 7 days until we meet again! On that note, have a great week Paul, Caren, Andy, Luke and Nick.
