I hope you are all having a great week. On with the latest from your Pro Shop team!
This week we sent all three of our assistants to the PING Factory in Gainsborough for a two day training course and factory visit. They will be writing all about this next week. This will be their second trip to our manufacturer HQs, and we are doing this to help train our already excellent staff in the brand new tech available. Where better than Titleist/PING/Callaway headquarters to get the best training?! More on this next week!
I met with a new stockist for women’s clothing yesterday and I can honestly say I loved the brand. It is big in America and only available in a few select pro shops in the UK, so we will be one of their six UK boutiques! They are also coming to run a fashion show for me in March 2026!!
They will be doing this alongside another brand we will be stocking for 2026, so in time we will invite the women members of B&C to a fashion show extravaganza! We haven’t done one of these in a number of years as we haven’t been stocking our own clothing, and GolfGarb no longer run fashion shows. I am super excited to bring this back to the academy. No I can’t tell you who the brands are, all will be revealed! There will be special member only deals coming soon for this.
We are holding our second inclusion festival of 2025 on 25th September. This will be on the chipping green if the weather is good, and either on the range or at Ashton Park school if the weather is poor. Please be aware that the chipping green or the range may be shut 8am- 12pm on the 25th. We look forward to seeing all our lovely local children coming to have some fun!
Moving on, we are now a stockist for ShotScope rangefinders! We will be stocking these alongside our Bushnell range and they make amazing Christmas presents. We have the Pro L2 and ZR models in stock and they are amazing products which can help transform your game!
As the weather is turning colder and wetter, it is time to think about mats for the course. To this end, we have a selection of Spurk mats in the shop, either long or short mats and also carrying bags to purchase to keep these in. These can save the course from further damage and will help your game massively in the poor conditions of winter. Pop into the shop to purchase yours today.

Bugs (straight legs)
This drill will loosen up and strengthen your midsection and hips
Perform 3 sets of 5-10 repetitions per side, 2-3 times per week
